📦 Cursed Items

Many believers are unknowingly living with items that carry a spiritual curse - and they wonder why there's constant heaviness, confusion, nightmares, or strife in their homes.

📖 In Deuteronomy 7:26, God warns:
"Do not bring a detestable thing into your house or you, like it, will be set apart for destruction. Regard it as vile and utterly detest it, for it is set apart for destruction."
God told Israel to reject idolatrous objects, a principle that applies to anything opposing His holiness today.

Acts 19:19 (NKJV): Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all.

This shows early Christians actively removing occult items.

1 Corinthians 10:20-21 (NKJV): I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.

This connects idolatry and spiritual influences to demonic activity.

🕯️ What are cursed items?
They are objects connected to:

• False religions (Buddha statues, Hindu idols, ancestor worship artifacts, Items used in devotion, images of foreign gods)
• Witchcraft or New Age (crystals, dreamcatchers, tarot cards, Ouija boards, pendulums, sage smudging tools)
• Talismans and Charms (amulets, lucky charms, protective jewelry, zodiac items, birthstones believed to hold power)
• Cultural spiritual objects (ceremonial masks, ancestral items used in rituals, objects or practices connected to atua [gods] or ancestors, tapu items, carvings or taonga dedicated spiritually)
• Occult entertainment (books, games, or movies that glorify magic, witchcraft, or darkness, e.g. role-playing spell books, horror that invites fear)
• Objects used in sin or bloodshed (items from Freemasonry, witchcraft initiations, violent acts, human sacrifice, or sexual immorality rituals)

• Music or media dedicated to idols/darkness (albums, posters, or merchandise invoking demonic themes)
• Haunted or second-hand items (things previously dedicated in occult rituals, even unknowingly purchased)
• Astrology & divination objects (horoscopes, star charts, divining rods)

👁️ These items are not just “art” or “decoration.” They often serve as spiritual doorways, giving demonic forces legal access to a home or life. What you allow into your home, you allow into your atmosphere.

⚠️ Some symptoms of cursed items:

• Persistent fear, anxiety, or heaviness
• Nightmares or tormenting dreams
• Division in relationships
• Health issues without medical explanation
• Feeling spiritually “stuck” despite prayer and faith

🔥 God calls us to be holy - set apart. That means cleansing our lives of anything that opposes Him.

🧹 Ask the Holy Spirit to show you anything in your home that grieves Him. Be willing to remove and destroy it. Break agreement with it in prayer, renounce its influence, command any demonic spirits to leave in Jesus name and dedicate your home fully to Jesus.
