sanctification

Sanctification Of God's Holy Temple

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:23, NKJV).

Sanctification is a process of cleansing, healing and making something whole.  The Holy Spirit will aide in your journey to conform you into the image of Christ.  Is this an easy process?  Absolutely not.  It may even be very painful, but fulfilling as you die to self.  As you yield yourself to the Spirit of God He will remove the areas in your life that are not in alignment with your born-again spirit.  God is a Holy God, He is our Lord who makes us Holy!  When we ask Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Saviour we are giving Him permission to do this very process of sanctification. We are agreeing to the conditions that we become a slave of righteousness. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!  Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?   But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered.  And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness (Romans 6:15-18, NKJV). I was confused by this Scripture as I couldn't understand how we were told we had received the gift of grace and were set free, yet we were being sanctified into the very image of Jesus which is incredibly painful, and had become a slave of righteousness!  I approached God about this and asked Him how being a slave makes you free?  This is what He showed me.  You are free to make choices whether good or bad and still be saved! This is freedom.  Freedom in the knowledge that you are saved no matter what, unless you knowingly reject Jesus Christ and wilfully sin, or walk away from Christ. Grace is about the freedom of your salvation whilst still having a soul enslaved to sin.  In the Old Testament God's people didn't have that freedom.  They were saved only by their choices and actions. We have the freedom to mess up and still be saved.  That is God's grace!

Spirit in Hebrew is Neshamah meaning Breath of God and Pneuma in Greek meaning breath/spirit/wind. Soul when taken back to Hebrew is Nephesh meaning life, soul, self, conscience and seat of emotions and passions, heart. In Greek Soul is Psuche meaning breath, heart. Heart is Greek is Kardia meaning seat of passions, thoughts and desires. What this shows us is that spirit, soul and heart are one and the same.  It also shows us that the heart is the soul of man.  I had always wondered why the Bible would use spirit and soul interchangeably. Spirit and soul (heart) were one until the separation at the fall of Adam. God Himself placed a wall of separation between mans spirit and soul. It is removed when you are born-again. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father (Ephesians 2:14-18, NKJV).  (Although this Scripture is in the context of the separation between Jews and Gentiles the Lord showed me that this also depicts the division between man and God which was represented by the tearing of the veil when Christ died on the cross. This Scripture also depicts the division between soul and spirit.  The word ‘separation’ is actually partition in the KJV and means Phragmos in Greek which is ‘That which separates. Prevents two from coming together’. The word ‘man’ in this Scripture in Greek is Anthropos and means ‘To distinguish man from a different race. Two fold nature of man). God separated the soul/heart of man (mind, will, evil conscience and emotions) from his spirit (God conscience) when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12, NKJV). The tearing down of this wall means that the Holy Spirit could re-enter the spirit of man and restore that connection between soul and spirit and in due course bring spirit and soul back together again into oneness, and of course to restore the relationship that was lost between man and God. The heart is sometimes described as the seat of the soul and the most wicked.  Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water (Hebrews 10:22, NKJV).  The soul/heart of man can become incredibly damaged through wounds we have encountered.  In fact the soul will fragment and crack.  These fragmented parts are blockages that prevent us from receiving the fullness of Gods power and anointing. We need God to cleanse, heal and renew these damaged parts.

We are a three part being and have to undergo a three part process of being sanctified in spirit, soul and body until we are truly reborn into the likeness of Christ and walking fully in His Glory. I believe there are three major rebirths within your Christian walk.  The first is when you are born again and the Holy Spirit enters your human spirit when you ask Jesus Christ into your heart and make a decision to follow Him.

The second is when your soul (including your DNA) is born again and the Holy Spirit rests upon you in a greater measure.  I call this the second infilling. This is depicted by Jesus because when He was born He was already filled with the Holy Spirit but it was after He was water baptised that the Spirit rested upon Him in a greater measure and His Ministry begun.  The water baptism I believe represents the washing of the water of the word – the refining process and sanctification of the soul we need to walk through. That He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,  that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish (Ephesians 5:26-27, NKJV). When we are water baptised this is symbolic of this event also.  It represents 'putting off the old man and putting on the new'.  This process takes time and represents the cleansing, refining and healing of our soul.  It is a testing to see if we are truly willing to die to self. We are also tested through the fire of God which is also known as the fire baptism. Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction (Isaiah 48:10, NKJV). It is also known as the fire baptism.  John tells us that Jesus came to baptise with Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:11).  First you are tested then you receive the greater infilling.  This is depicted in the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit fell on the disciples with tongues of fire on their heads. They then walked in the same power and anointing as Jesus did. Before this they had already received the first infilling of the Holy Spirit when Jesus was resurrected and was about to go to the Father.  So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”  And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit” (John 20:21-22, NKJV).  In the second infilling the Holy Spirit will also rest upon us and we too will walk in the same power and anointing that Jesus did.  Signs and wonders will be with us as we preach the Gospel. I believe this is where the Disciples of Jesus changed from disciples (Mathetes in Greek which means pupil) to apostles (Apostolos in Greek which means messenger and also teacher). After you are born-again in your soul you and Jesus together in partnership grow and develop the new man.  You rise up in resurrection power. The old man will try and rise up again but you must resist the temptation to sin.  Walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Jesus broke the power of the curse of death at the cross.  Death and deterioration of the physical body can be halted as you walk in new life.  It is all to do with the choices you make.  Sin or no sin. Sin leads to death, and obedience to the Spirit leads to life.  It is much easier to follow the leading of the Spirit when your soul and DNA is healed and born again. Blockages from sin hinder the flow of new life into your mortal body. As you walk in newness of life being led by the Spirit, life flows through your mortal body instead of death. This is known as partnership with Jesus and together you crucify the flesh. The flesh is the carnal part of man and his physical body. In the whole process you are dying to self, first the spirit, then the soul and also the physical body.  How is our physical body crucified?  Through our blood.  The blood contains life which is the breath of God. The blood of Christ transforms our corrupt DNA. Our DNA is the very essence of who we are. We get grafted into Christ’s perfect DNA.  His DNA removes the corruption from ours.  True repentance is turning away from sin. In this stage we walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. As self is crucified we are resurrected in Glory.  We go from Glory to Glory - the Glory of Jesus.  As we walk in the Glory we are changed through the Glory. As we make the choice to follow the will of God and not ourselves we are changed as Christ is revealed more and more within our physical flesh and souls.

The third new birth of course is the resurrection of our physical body into the new Heavenly body.  This happens at the return of Jesus when we are caught up with Him in the clouds upon His return.

The sanctification process begins the moment the Holy Spirit enters our human spirit when we are born-again at the time we give our heart and life to Jesus. The Holy Spirit will immediately start to cleanse and sanctify the soul. It can be quite painful as the soul houses our human emotions. Sanctification is cleansing and healing of wounds, sin, mindsets and all carnality within our soul. Demons live in the soul and physical body of man entrenched within the carnal mindsets and wounds until the Holy Spirit deals with them. Demons cannot live in your spirit as this is the breath of God and reserved for God. There may be many obstacles to clear away before complete cleansing and healing of the soul is outworked. Many believe that upon being born-again the Holy Spirit immediately dwells within mans heart.  This is untrue - there is a process of sanctification, testing and refining before we can fully claim that Jesus is in our entire heart.

At the Cross of Calvary, when Jesus gave up His spirit the veil of the Temple to the Holiest of Holies was torn in two. This Temple was the second Temple that was built after the Temple of Solomon was destroyed by the Babylonians and is chronicled within the Book of Ezra. The veil that Jesus tore also represented the wall that separated soul and spirit (as we are the Temple of God). No one except the High Priest could ever enter behind the veil into the most Holy place. Jesus became the great High Priest for all. At the Cross of Calvary when Jesus gave up His spirit the veil of the Temple to the Holiest of Holies was torn in two. The tearing down of this wall represents the personal relationship between man and God. We can enter into a heart-felt relationship with God. We are now all Royal Priests and can enter into the Throne room of God and enter into His presence with our hearts (when we worship in spirit and truth) because Jesus made a way where there was no way.

The Law of God in our minds and permanently written in our hearts is activated when we are born again. Our human spirit is where we Commune with God, and also where the gifts of the Holy Spirit operate from. Without the connection between soul and spirit we cannot comprehend them. The Law of God is in our minds (conscious) and written in our hearts (conscience). We are then made aware of God's Moral Laws and have a God-conscience. We know right from wrong. Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness (Romans 2:15, NKJV).

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water (Hebrews 10:22, NKJV). When we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we are changed, we know we are different. We come alive. The Holy Spirit then does a work in us to completely baptise our entire soul and physical body. Dependant on the state of our heart and our willingness to yield all to Jesus, this can be a quick or slow work.

My purification process began in 2009, the day I was saved.  Demons pretty much raised their ugly heads in me and revealed their presence not long after I was born-again. God has given me a very sensitive spirit, which means I see, hear and feel the presence of God immensely.  I thank God for this with all my heart, as it is a great honour to experience God in this manner. The down-side to this is, I hear, see and feel satan and his demons with the same intensity. God has taken me on a journey of discovery and shown me how the very dark places in my soul are the direct cause of physical infirmities in my body.  Let me begin by showing you how the Lord taught me that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and in actual fact, a direct replica of the Temple of Solomon...

Temple

In the Tabernacle of Moses there were three veils.  The first one was at the entrance of the Tabernacle and was always drawn and open.  The second was closed and hiding the Holy Place, and the third was closed, hiding and separating the Holy Place from the Holiest of Holies. The veil that separated the Holy Place from the Holiest of Holiest in the Tabernacle was used in the Temple. In the Temple I believe that the Outer Court represents the world, the Inner Court represents our physical body, the Holy Place represents our spirit, and the Holiest of Holies represents our soul/heart. The Ark of the Covenant is placed within the Holiest of Holy place (our heart) and represents the place in which we die to self and meet with God the Father. What is interesting about the Ark of the Covenant is that it was missing in the Temple in which Jesus tore the veil.  It was only ever in the Temple of Solomon and the Tabernacle of Moses. The Ark was never placed back into the Temple when Solomons Temple was destroyed because God hid it.  I believe the Ark will be found when God reveals it in His timing! When I took the word Ark back to the original Hebrew transcripts it meant 'arown' which is translated as box, chest, and coffin. To hear that the Ark was translated as coffin surprised me but the Lord showed me that it was never of course used as a literal coffin where dead people were buried. It is designed to be our spiritual place of rest where we cease from all works and enter into His rest. For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day.  There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. (Hebrews 4:8-11, NKJV). It is where we are willing to die-to-self and then the fullness of the presence of God in the form of a Glory cloud rests atop of the mercy seat (and us). This is the second baptism I spoke of earlier where the Holy Spirit rests upon us. The Ark of the Covenant housed the Ten Commandments which is the moral law of God.  Why would God place the Ten Commandments in a chest that is designed to be a spiritual coffin where you die to self you may ask?  Because it also represents the dying away of the Old Covenant. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away (Hebrews 8:7-13, NKJV).  Note the part in Scripture that states 'growing old ready to vanish away'. I believe the Ark is also referenced in Scripture as the secret place in Gods tabernacle. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle. He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock (Psalm 27:5, NKJV). Remember earlier that I mentioned the Ark is hidden by God until He is ready to reveal it again. Psalm 91 also speaks of this place. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Verse 1-2).   And under His wings you shall take refuge (Verse 4).  The wings of the Cheribum that are on the ends of the mercy seat (cover) are depicted as the wings of the Holy Spirit dwelling on us just as He did Jesus. The Cheribum also had four faces, one of which was an eagle.  The eagle represents entering into God’s rest (Isaiah 40:31). By the Scriptures we see that the mercy seat (cover) on top of the Ark was where the divine presence of God rested. When the Ark and the mercy seat were placed in the Holiest of Holies after all sacrifices, rituals and purification ceremonies were complete the Spirit of God appeared in a cloud above the mercy seat and filled the entire Temple. This can only happen when we are truly ready to die to self (hence the Ark translating into a coffin). This happens at the end of the fire baptism - the testing of our hearts. The word mercy in Hebrew literally means grace. Through God's grace we are saved. We see by Scripture that the law of God in our hearts is the same law within the Ark which is in the Holiest of Holy place in the Temple - the moral law of God. The difference being the law of God written on the tablets is bound to the old Covenant system of punishment, ceremonies and sacrifices. It is based on works. The law of God written on our hearts is under the New Covenant system of love and based on faith and rest. We can no longer be punished with eternal death when we fall into sin, nor do we have to perform religious ceremonies and sacrifices. The Old Covenant is obsolete (dead) in the sense that nothing we can do in the way of works enables us be in right standing with God or earn our salvation.  The Old Covenant system was about earning our salvation through works of righteousness by keeping the law and ceremonial traditions. The New Covenant is about us already being righteous, inheriting salvation and being right standing with God by believing and accepting Jesus into our lives. The love of God is the basis of the new Covenant and it is based on faith. Faith in the belief of Jesus and His work on the cross. We are shown also in Scripture that the Ark also contained Aarons rod and a golden pot of manna. In Psalm 23 which represents the dying to self process by reference to 'As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death' we see that the rod and staff comfort us. Interestingly the rod blossomed with buds which represents new life. 'The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want' refers to the bread from Heaven that sustains us. The table God prepares in the presence of our enemies will be full of abundance which is the promises contained in the Scriptures for us. It is our promised land that we enter into when we have walked through the wilderness trusting God and come out the other side - new! Another thing I found very interesting was an article posted by Great Pyramid of Giza Research Association which stated that many of the pyramidologists in the 19th century have pointed out an amazing correlation. The volume or cubic capacity of the Coffin in the King's chamber is exactly the same volume to the Ark of the Covenant as described in the Bible.  (We of course are Kings and Royal Priests after we take on the righteousness of Christ so the Ark of the Covenant is made to the specification of a Kings coffin).  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16, KJV). The throne of Grace is also known as the mercy seat which is on top of the Ark. Many scholars have referred to the Ark as a type of Jesus Christ. What I find interesting is that Jesus sits at the right hand of the father.  So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God (Mark 16:19, NKJV). God sits/rests on top of the mercy seat, Jesus sits below (and is the Ark, which makes Him level with Gods right hand). The Scriptures also tell us that we are seated in Heavenly places with Christ - therefore we are to be seated in the Ark (who is Jesus - the secret hiding place). We are also told to enter into Gods rest. I believe that this means we are to enter into the Ark to complete the dying-to-self process. When we enter into Jesus we die to self. Jesus also had to die before He was resurrected into the Glory of the Father. We have to die to self to be raised up in life with Christ.  When the Glory comes upon you, you will know you have come to a place where you are truly ready to die and the resurrection is next. This is aided by partnership with Christ. God has tested you and you are ready for greater things in Him. The measurements of the Ark and also the Kings Coffin (mentioned earlier) make it impossible to lie down in - one has to be seated.

The diagram above shows you the temple floor plans. The tabernacle built by Moses was very similar in its layout to the temple, except for a few differences. The tabernacle, I believe represents the 'before' Christ structure of the human body, and the temple represents the 'after Christ was sacrificed' structure of the human body. There was an inner and outer court in the temple, but only an outer court in the tabernacle. The tabernacle did not have an inner court (which represents the physical body) because God had not yet been made flesh. Interestingly the inner court leads straight into the Holy Place. There were 10 candlesticks and 10 tables for shewbread in the temple, five on each side, but only one candlestick and one table in the tabernacle. The table and candlestick were on opposite sides in the tabernacle, but together in the temple. The 12 loaves of bread were displayed on one table, which represented the twelve tribes of Israel. After the sacrifice of Jesus, Gods Holy Spirit was available to all God's children, not just the Israelites. The candlestick represents the light of Christ. The candlesticks are in our spirit. The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart (Proverbs 20:27, NKJV). The Light of Christ is the divine energy, power, or influence that gives life and light to all things. The light also represents truth.  But he who does the truth comes to the light (John 3:21, NKJV). The shewbread represents the word of God.  The word of God is the living bread (body of Christ) and is food for the soul.  When you eat of this word, and combine it with the light of the Holy Spirit,  it brings life to our soul and physical body. The word of God is truth, but only through revelation from the Holy Spirit are we able to comprehend it. The lampstands and the shewbread were separate in the tabernacle because the Holy Spirit hadn't yet been sent, so natural man could not understand the word of God.  These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned 1 Corinthians 2: 13-14, NKJV).  When we eat of this bread it sustains us. We are also light bearers chosen to bring light to a fallen world full of lost, hurting souls. The third veil hid the Holiest of Holies (the most Holy Place).  No one except the High Priest could ever enter. Thankfully Jesus went before us and made a way where there was previously no way! This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 6:19-20, NKJV).

The heart is the area in which we trust God, and worship in spirit and truth. Worshipping in Spirit and truth is total submission to God with all of your heart and trust - trusting God always no matter what the circumstances or trials are telling us. God showed me that our heart (soul) has four chambers like our physical heart. Our spiritual heart comprises our mind, will, emotions. Each area is lovingly and painstakingly cleansed, sanctified and healed by God. Sanctification starts to take place the moment we are born again. There may be many obstacles to clear away before we can accept Christ into those afore mentioned areas of our soul.  After we initially receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit we will then at some point receive the baptism of fire. This is the purification and the testing of our hearts. The fire is the burning of the chaff and testing before God will take you to a higher level in Him. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:11, NKJV).  After this refining you will receive a greater anointing and walk in a greater God-power. It took nearly four years from the day I was saved to receive the fire baptism. It happened in my local church during the worship part of the service. I was worshipping the Lord when he spoke to me and said "Are you ready for the second baptism in the Holy Spirit?  I had no idea what that was so I said "yes".  Immediately I saw a black curtain, and upon pulling open the curtain I saw an altar with candles on a table and a cushion.  I knew to sit on the cushion and continue to worship.  The Lord spoke again and said that this was my heart.  The black curtain represented a counterfeit veil because I was offering God false worship. False worship is when we cannot trust God through all the trials and tribulations. It is unbelief, hardness of heart, rebellion and lack of trust. The Lord showed me that I did not fully trust Him and I had built a guard around my heart. He asked for my permission to remove those areas of my heart that I had guarded. He told me that He had not been able to enter these areas of my heart yet. He first has to sanctify and cleanse our hearts before His Holy Spirit can reside there.  I terminated the assignment of the guard at the door and told him to leave, that I did not want his false protection anymore. God told me that the first baptism is when we make the decision to make Jesus our Lord and Saviour, are born again and receive the Holy Spirit into our spirit-man. The second baptism is the fire. This is when the Holy Spirit tests us to enter into a higher call to trust. The Holy Spirit wants to permeate into our entire soul, but first the fire must refine us. The Lord wants to separate the true believers from the pretending unbelievers. This I believe will be where our trust in Him will be put to the test. We need to trust in God no matter what the circumstances are showing us. We must focus on the unseen promises and not on what we can see. This is the separating of the chaff from the wheat. At the presence of God I wept and wept. He told me that once you enter into His presence in this way (at the end of the refining) you are never the same. You are able to bring Heaven to earth. Everything changes from that point. I received a very powerful anointing whilst receiving 'the baptism of fire'. I now carry this fire and can impart to others on His command. It is a very powerful anointing and I am very honoured to be able to impart this. He showed me that whomever I impart this fire to, they can then impart to others. Eventually all of His people will be sanctified in the fire. End times are near and He is preparing His true sons and daughters for what is to come.

After the Holy Spirit has taken you on a journey of cleansing and healing through the fire the last thing to be sanctified is self-will. This is when you are willing to let go of self and let go of control. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me (John 5:30, NKJV).  We need to get to this place of total submission.  We may already think we are there but God sees our heart and knows when we mean it.  The fire shows Him when we are ready.  This is the next level. We need to willingly get into the Ark and die-to-self. At the point when you are truly willing to die-to-self you will receive an infilling of love with a greater power and greater anointing.  This is what the Lord spoke to me about this: "Self is the last thing I need to deal with before you are glorified in spirit/soul and body.  Are you prepared to lay down the pressures of this world and give them to me?  This means you are letting go of control.  You will no longer be in control.  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20, NKJV). You will be fully trusting me to guide you. You need to know that when you hand over control it means everything!  Your life will no longer be your own.  I could not take this from you until you fully understood what you are giving to me.  Free will is yours, self will is mine!  I will take away self and replace it with us.  No longer you, but you and Me! I will lead you.  Total submission to the Spirit of God.  There will be some choices you will need to make which you will not like, but you will know they are the right ones.  Are you ready to let go of you and become us?  I will be in you, as you are in me.  Totally lead and guided by the Holy Spirit.  This is the ultimate trust. Are you willing to enter into the will of God"? At the end of this I cried out yes, yes, yes and I prophetically climbed into the Ark and closed the lid.  The Holy Spirit spoke this later to me: "The whole sanctification walk is the dying to self process.  The end part of the cleansing of the soul is when you accept me into your heart and go to the next level.  You will walk in a power greater than before.  Romans 12:2: And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God". Your renewed mind (which is your thought processes and emotions) transforms you into the new creation. The next level is when you crucify self with the love of the Father by resisting the temptations and following the will and leading of God and you will go from Glory to Glory.  This is where you receive the crowns.  Each stage is another crown.  Another crown is also a fresh infilling of more of Gods dunamis power.  Walking in Gods will becomes easier at this point but harder in different ways.  It is a new level.  You leave behind the old man and put on the new!"

You will remember earlier I explained that the soul and spirit of man were separated at the fall with a wall of separation and that Jesus removed that wall.  The problem is even after the wall is removed by Jesus the soul and spirit remain separate until God joins them back together again.  God's ultimate aim is the conjoining of man's spirit (which contains the Holy Spirit) back together with the cleansed and sanctified soul (heart)so that they become one again. Satan however will place a counterfeit aide of rejoining the soul back together again with a counterfeit cord to prevent God being able to do it.  The cord is the spirit of self-sufficiency and is an ungodly soul tie to self. This totally tries to control our 'self will'.  It is false protection and was put there as a coping mechanism that enabled us to cope when we were separated from God. The self-sufficient spirit tries to control our situations and environments through self sufficiency - refusing help from others and refusing to be vulnerable. This spirit is part of the Jezebel/Matriarchal spirit. Self-sufficiency is antichrist as it wants to go it alone without Jesus.  The Matriarchal spirit tries to control and dominate.  This usually stems from fear and trying to self protect. The Holy Spirit gave me a vision of the ungodly soul tie hanging out from the top of people's heads, much like the wick or cord of a candle. In the Tabernacle there was a golden candlestick on the lampstand.  The candlestick had seven branches each with a wick and burned using oil. The candlestick represents the light of Christ. The light of Christ burns within each one of us and is in our human spirit. The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart (Proverbs 20:27, NKJV). The Holy Spirit showed me that the counterfeit cord acts as a counterfeit wick which is attached to a counterfeit light who is an antichrist spirit (a counterfeit Jesus).  We cannot deal with the self sufficient spirit and let Jesus deal with 'self' until the other parts of the heart have been healed and made whole.  The moment the Lord completely heals your broken heart (soul) you and Him can crucify 'self' together.  This can only be done with the power and anointing of Jesus. Only Jesus can remove self-will.  We can not do this ourselves. The will of man that opposes the will of God.  Only the love of God in our heart can crucify this. Not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,  with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,  knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free (Ephesians 6:6-8, NKJV). When you complete the dying to self process the Father who has already met with you on the mercy seat on top of the Ark fills your entire spirit/soul and physical body with His love and presence. Jesus is the intermediary that prepares us to receive the fullness of the Father. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6, NKJV).  He presents us to Him without spot or wrinkle. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior (Jude 1:24-25, NKJV). The absolute end result is when the spirit/soul and physical body will be glorified.  The conjoining (resealing) of man's spirit (which contains the Holy Spirit) back together with the cleansed and sanctified heart/soul which also contains the Holy Spirit. Man and God become one. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren (Romans 8:29, NKJV).

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?  Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?  Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?  Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,  knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.  For he who has died has been freed from sin.  Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,  knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.   For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.   Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.  And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.  For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace (Romans 6:1-12, NKJV). Our entire flesh (soul and physical body) will reflect Jesus. This is known as walking in the fullness of the Glory of God. The end of the sanctification process and where we enter into Gods rest and live in our promised land.  We become a new creation in Christ!  For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory (Colossians 3:3-4, NKJV). I believe we can achieve wholeness and health before we receive our resurrection bodies.  Sin will no longer have dominion over us because Jesus in us would have crucified our flesh (soul and physical body). We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;  persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.  For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.  So then death is working in us, but life in you (2 Corinthians 4:8-12, NKJV). We receive our resurrection (Heavenly body) when Jesus returns.   See also: Walking in the Glory and Israel,Jews and End Times

A Glorious Body

But someone will say, “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?”  Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body. All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.  It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.  And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.  As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

Our Final Victory

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”“O Death, where is your sting?O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord 1 Corinthians 1:35-58, NKJV).

To aide in this entire process the Holy Spirit recently gave me a Scripture and revealed what it meant. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father (Romans 8:15, NKJV). 'For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear' means that we are originally carrying a spirit of fear. Perfect love casts out fear.  The only way to completely remove fear from our lives is to receive the perfect love of the Father. 'Ye have received the Spirit of adoption' Who is the Holy Spirit, 'whereby we cry Abba Father'.  It is the Holy Spirit who cries out Abba Father for us.  He intercedes for us when we pray in tongues.  He aides in fulfilling the sanctification process.  He knows what we need and calls to the Father. Praying in tongues is something all believers should be doing on a regular basis.

The love of God within our sanctified hearts will crucify the flesh.  I believe too that our physical bodies will change as the love of God redeems our physical body and reveals Christ in our flesh. We will walk in the spirit and not in the flesh and into the abundances of blessings and promises.  We will be so changed and will operate out of love and not the flesh. It wil be Gods love working through us. Many people think the abundance and promises are only available upon physical death when they go to be with the Father in Heaven, but it is actually attainable in it's entirety whilst we are still living on earth.  Take Moses for example, because of his unbelief and disobedience he never entered the promised land.  Joshua was the one who took the Israelites into the fulfullment of the promises.  We all have a promised land.  Many like Moses will only ever achieve their promised land when they physically die and go and be with the Father.  When you are first saved into the Kingdom you are given the seal of the Holy Spirit as your personal guarantee for Kingdom adoption and inheritance but you are in charge of when you receive it - upon actual physical death or here on earth like Joshua.  It is about our pliability to the Holy Spirit and about how much of our life we are willing to let go of and yield over to Jesus.  The more we yield the closer we are to the Glory.  The Holy Spirit knows when you are ready.  Are you ready to enter into the promises of the Kingdom?

Prayer of submission to Jesus

“Dear Father God in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ I repent for all areas in my life that I have not yielded to You. I want to relinquish all to You, so that You are in control. Father God I declare that I am ready to submit to You. Please help me to do this. I give You authority to minister to me. I love You and I trust You. I dedicate my life, spirit, soul and body to You. I dedicate my family, home, business, finances, belongings and pets to You. I ask for all thoughts, emotions, influence and endeavours I have to come into alignment with Your will and purposes for me. I commit my works to You LORD, so Your thoughts will be established. I ask the Holy Spirit for a fresh infilling to help me to discern Your voice, to lead me and guide me into the life You have planned for me. I give you authority to conform me into the Christ-like creation You have predestined me to be. I give You my life for the life of Christ. Please show me all areas in my life that I have not fully yielded to You - Amen”.

Trust/Fire Baptism Prayer

“I repent Father God in Jesus name for all sins and lack of trust that allowed the enemy to enter and guard my heart. I repent for not worshipping in Spirit and truth when the trials came. I chose to believe in what the circumstances were telling me, rather than what the Word of God says about me and my circumstances. I choose to believe in Your goodness, faithfulness and truth. Teach me how to worship You in Spirit and truth no matter what the circumstances are telling me. Help me to submit to You in every area of my life.  I bequeath my spiritual blanket to You, which represents my heart because I trust You with it. Test my heart Lord. You stand at the door of my heart Lord Jesus and I give You permission to sanctify every area of my being.
In the name of Jesus Christ I terminate the assignment of every guard who stand at the various doorways of my heart. I command the guards, false peace, false protection, false love, unbelief and every other demon that has access and entry to these doorways to leave immediately. I seal the innermost doorways of the heart closed to the demonic realm with the Blood of Jesus Christ and command them to never again be opened. I pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard my heart and mind through Jesus Christ”.

Self Sufficient Spirit

(PRAYER) - "In Jesus name Father God I repent for self-sufficiency. I repent for not allowing myself to be vulnerable and for believing I can do all things in my own strength. I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. I lay 'self' at the foot of the cross and release this false protection to You. I sever the ungodly soul tie I have formed with myself in Jesus name and command every demon involved with that soul tie to leave including fear of the unknown, impatience, control and domination.  I speak to the self-sufficient spirit and tell you I no longer want to partner with you.  I partner with and release 'partnership with Jesus'. Help me to seek only that which You want me to know.  Show me when I am seeking outside of You. I command self-sufficiency, matriarchal, independence, stubborn, rebellion and pride to go in Jesus name.  I command all false Christs to leave also in Jesus name. I impart the fruit of the spirit 'patience' in Jesus name and ask You Father God to fuse my spirit and soul back together in complete wholeness".

Dying to Self

(Prophetic Act) - Climb into the Ark and declare:- "I (name) present my body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God (Romans 12:1). I willingly and joyfully die to self. I enter into the rest of God where I cease from all works. I pray that You would hide me in the secret place of Your pavillion.  I relinquish all control and hand over all control to You Lord Jesus. I know that I will always have free will to choose my choices and decisions but willingly hand over my self will to You.  I yield self and ask that I become 'we', You and me as one.  I want to do nothing of myself and be lead entirely by the Holy Spirit. I understand that from this point my life is now no longer my own.  I am here to do the will of God who sent me.  I give up the will of self and proclaim 'not my will but Yours be done' in Jesus name, Amen".            *Pray in tongues
