Living for What Will Last

“Each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire… If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.”
 - 1 Corinthians 3:13–14

One day, each of us will stand before Jesus - not to be judged for salvation, but to have our lives examined for what we built on the foundation of Christ.

Everything we’ve done - every motive, every sacrifice, every hidden choice - will be tested. And only what was done for Him, through Him, and in obedience to His will, will last.

This is why it's so important to know your God-given purpose, and to die to self daily. A life lived for self may be saved, but it will pass through the fire with nothing left to show. But a life surrendered - built with gold, silver, and precious stones - will be rewarded for all eternity.

Let’s live with the end in mind.
Let’s let go of worldly applause and build what matters to Jesus.
Because the Day is coming - and with it, the joy of hearing...

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” 💛
